My brother, the groom, reassuring Mom that everything will be okay... 

The "hantaran" (gifts) from the groom's side consists of the sireh junjung -- the ingredients that are used like the betel leaf (Sireh), pinang, gambir, kapur, tembakau (tabacco) symbolize the sweetness, bitterness and spiciness of a marriage that is going to be shared by the future bride and groom. Other gifts include the Al-Quran + telekung + sejadah + tasbih, shoes, bag, toiletries, iPad and wedding band.

And we are ready to go to the bride's house...

Best man, Achik, calming down the nerves of the groom by cracking a joke.

However, nothing can stop the groom from being mesmerized...

It all boils down to this.... the akad nikah - solemnization ceremony. 

Dengan sekali lafaz... Aku terima nikahnya...

I can't remember what we were talking and laughing about.. but it looks like it was so funny..

Buddy minding his own business and went to get some food first.. :) Btw, I dressed him in a barong tagalog for the wedding.
