Crows, Buzzes and Howls

A couple of things about being back here in my hometown (that I need adjusting to) is my neighbour's rooster, the mosquitoes and the barking dogs. I think I've mentioned my neighbour's noisy rooster before, but this time, it's a different one. I could tell, this rooster sounds really throaty and hoarse! LOL!

Anyways, the mosquitoes here are quite the terror.. I guess back in KL, with condo living high up, the mosquitoes aren't so bad. But here, oh gosh.. I almost forgot the reason for a creation like "Mopiko" (mosquito ointment).

Last but not least is the barking dogs (sometimes howling). However, despite this being an annoyance to me, I feel quite comforted because living in a hilly area, and quite far from the main road, it's great that both my neighbors have guard dogs. We have video surveillance equipment installed at home but the barking dogs make us feel extra safe somehow.

At least I know that when I get back to KL, my mom, sister and brothers are safe here!
