What is Stock Option Trading?

I have never understood how people got into stock option trading. In fact the words "stock option trading" is pretty alien to me. However, when I hear a lot of people making a business out of investing in it, it makes me curious, somewhat.

So I did what any other person out there would do. I "googled" about it. That's when I discovered the website that's supposed to help people out in making money through stock option trading.
