Happy Birthday, Mom!!*

I love my mom for the woman that she is - an absolutely amazing wife and mother. Being a wife and mother myself, I know now how difficult it is and she makes it seem so effortless. She graduated with honors at the age of 33, while taking care of all 4 of us in a foreign land where there was nobody but her husband and kids. I'm not even working or studying and taking care of 2 small children is already a huge feat for me.

When my father passed away 8 years ago, she took charge and became both mom and dad for the 5 of us - my kid sister still only about 8 years old at the time. Not someone who you can bullshit your way around, because she's one of the sharpest and smartest people I know. There isn't one person that she is intimidated by. Yet she's soft-spoken, humble, forgiving and loving..

Mom, I admire you and love you and I'm a looong way from being half the person that you are, but I'm working on it. You are the best mom and role model a daughter could ever ask for. I love you and Happy Birthday!!
