Hilary Duff on Maxim cover January 2009

This former Disney channel sensation, who played the awfully adorable, klutzy pre-teen in Lizzie Mcguire, has definitely grown up to be a gorgeous young woman.

Now, 21, Hilary Duff says she is moving toward a new direction in her music and leaving her good-girl image for more bad ass movie roles. It is evident in her new video to her latest single, "Reach Out". However, she does insist that she does not want to be "overtly sexual".

As for the virgin rumour, she says, “You know what? I was quoted saying I was a virgin, but I absolutely did not say that,” the 21-year-old tells Maxim. “That’s nobody’s business but my own. Somehow it turned into a bad thing!”

How about the reported lap dances??

Well, Duff states, “I’ve been accused by the press of giving lap dances at clubs. I mean, little ol’ me? And they’re so descriptive about these lap dances. I don’t even know how to do a lap dance!”

In my opinion, however, Hilary Duff DOES NOT put me off with this sexier role. She seems less skanky compared to her other peers, like Lindsay Lohan. *shudders*
